My cat and I have cooked up a little something and a carer’s popping it into the post box as I type this … or some time this afternoon anyway!

There’s actually another something being cooked up but it’s still cooking and may take another week or two so I’ve mailed this part off first. Hope you enjoy!

My heart bled when I read your profile. I, too, suffer from many of the illnesses that you have and I understand fully what it is like to have pain all day, every day. Unless someone has this, there is no way they can comprehend…but I do and my prayers and thoughts are with you. I will gladly donate a “helping” hand to you. It may take me a few days, but I will get it done and mailed to you. I have a friend who lives in Cary…her name is Mary Kay. Do you know her? Just found your blog from futuregirl’s blog, which I found from Pam’s sweet blog, gingerbreadsnowflakes. I cannot tell you how much I needed to read your courageous example of reaching out to others to help. My family is trying to learn to deal with a family member who is in so much emotional pain that he has resorted to cutting and threatening suicide. I hate to think of him in that much pain, and your ideas for reaching out give me some new thoughts for him. I’ll be working on a hand this weekend to send your way. Thank you for touching my heart.

Aw, Juliann…I hope your health takes a BIG turn for the better real soon. I know how u feel, I have MS and I have good days and bad. Lately, it’s not so good.

Hi! Just found your via Futuregirl.
I would love to give you a hand! I keep a blog about crafting too, which came about partly as I needed an upbeat break away from the blog I kept for many years about living with ulcerative colitis (and more recently arthritis too!) So I know what it’s like to live in daily pain. I will get thinking about what kind of hand I can create for you! What a lovely idea.
